That is fine but you can't discriminate against others in the work place or in public. That is harassment. You have to keep bigotry in your own home.

I can't speak for gay people, but don't forget that a large percentage of the people fighting for marriage equality aren't gay. My church is almost 100% in support of marriage equality, but homosexuals represent only a portion of the congregants. Our church has been fighting discrimination and bigotry for generations, opposing slavery, and working for women's suffrage, civil rights, marriage equality, economic justice, etc. There will continue to be self-centered cretins seeking to exploit their power to marginalize less powerful members of society, so the work goes on.

What will happen if they run out of designer handbags? OMG they'll have to buy cheap imitations and OMG they won't be able to accessorize - what's a gurl gonna do?

Besides, everyone knows that only lesbians get married, because gay men have at least 85 different partners a year. And people generally support lesbian marriage because two chicks is hot.

An admirable past record. When did your church run off the tracks over homosexuality?

Of course I wouldn't forget that. Reading posts from people like Bideshi I sometimes forget that there are good Christians out there that are against discrimination. I have to check myself sometimes.

When did your ability to understand the inferential logic that labels your perspective as corrupt escape you?

To be fair, my church is not a Christian church. Jesus was a nice guy, but we have never abided this three-headed god-monster idea of the Christians.

I am relieved to know it is not a Christian church deceiving people.

Probably just engage in their gay lifestyle. You know, go to work, drop their kids off at school, walk the dog, watch TV at night: all those awful gay activities that are so much a part of the gay lifestyle conservatives hate so much.

People or behavior?

To be a homosexual, one must engage in homosexual activities.

Acting black isn't really the same thing as being black.

Acting in an effeminate manner doesn't make one female.

We all discriminate.

The question that needs to be answered is for what purpose?

Homosexuality is a difference based on behavior.

I shouldn't have to accept whatever a group of individuals want to do just because they are a group and, in an era of affirmative action, lowered standards and race/sex set asides, liberals have now run short of quality victims of what they claim to be "white male privilege".
