What if you're apathetic to it? What's the reason?

Most of us believe the science... Deniers are just burying your heads because they do what they are told by whoever.

Despite the fact that more people now acknowledge that climate change represents a significant threat to human well-being, this has yet to translate into any meaningful action. Psychologists may have an answer as to why this is...

Cause and effect?

Show me where CO2 causes an increase in surface temperature.

I'll dumb it down for you...

A familiar instance of this "greenhouse" effect is the heating-up of a closed automobile when it stands for a while in the summer sun. Like the atmosphere, the car's windows are transparent to the sun's visible radiation, which warms the upholstery and metal inside the car; these materials in turn re-emit some of their heat as infrared radiation. Glass, like carbon dioxide, absorbs some of this radiation and thus traps the heat, and the temperature inside the car rises.

No need to dumb anything down...just explain why there appears to be no relationship between past CO2 levels and surface temperatures.

Wanting to do something --lots of things-- and being able to do nothing, and when you do, you are treated like some weirdo by the mass of consumers who are on auto pilot, is very disappointing and disheartening.

And when you ride a bike among indolent, hostile, aggressive, reckless drivers, you must have the commitment of a soldier, without the solidarity of a platoon and the capacity to shoot back.

I try to be like Gandhi said, "Be whatever change you want to see in the world." Well, I can't. I'm alone in the middle of no man's land.

If you don't believe your actions --over 7 billion of us-- have an effect on climate, then you don't believe in cause and effect. If you are a smoker, you know it causes cancer. It's a gamble you take with your life. In this case you are gambling an entire planet.

Believe this science; it stopped warming 17 years ago.

Blah, blah, blah...

Talk's cheap!

Show me where CO2 caused warming.
