I wonder what this press secretary is going to barter his job for?

Rahm managed to trade it for a mayorship, certainly this guy should be able to get a seat on a board or whatnot.

Comes naturally to some people. They are the ones that last the longest in the job.

Such people have guaranteed job security in the Obama administration.

Not really, every president goes through a few Press Secretaries during their years in office. It is a good job to have on a resume but in reality the job sucks.

The guy got tired of coming up with lie after lie to cover for Obamas incompetence.
That is why Gibbs quit.

What will Carney's salary at CNN or MSNBC be?

Or will ABC outbid them again, as they did with Stephanopolous?

Rahm was the Chief of Staff, not the press secretary.

White House Press Secretary - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Baby Bush had 4 Press Secretaries during his terms, Clinton had 5, and Reagan had 3. Surprisingly Daddy Bush only had one his 4 years in office.
