It took a whistleblower to surface the bad news.

That's government "accountability" these days..whistleblowers uncovering the truth.

Apparently U.S. Senator Chris Coons (D-Del.) recognized a need when he proposed a bill to expand a wide range of veterans benefits and strengthen support for servicemembers and their families.

Really he knew ? Problems reported in 2012 and he waited 2 years and never said anything ?

Yup..if the Republicans would just rubber stamp every bill that comes up America will become "utopia".

Dems are falling all over themselves trying to get bills proposed now so they can say they tried.
