That said, I admit that I live in an affluent suburban area where there is ample funding and support for school security, including SROs, who are sworn officers or deputies.

I partially agree with you, but I also believe that teachers should have the capability to defend themselves and their charges when there is no path to safety available.

Last I checked, the NRA isn't a firearms dealer. They don't sell guns.
