Thank you for posting this video. Brigitte said what needed to be said and is never said. She acknowledged that peaceful Muslims are not the issue. The significant number, estimated to be 150-300 million worldwide, of violent members in this religion are a problem and are dangerous to our way of life and must be addressed directly and honestly, PC agendas be damned.

The gentleman at the end of the clip asked the Muslim woman who originally posed the question, Who is leading or the head of the Muslim peace movement [in the United States]? No one....me I guess, she replied.....

"Ignore the fact that almost every terrorist action of the last 50 years was committed by Muslims because this lady is not liked by some"

If Muslims wish to stop being portrayed as murderous savages, ceasing to be murdering savages is a wonderful start.

Also, Arabs make up only 20% of global Muslims, why are you racist and conflating Arabs with Islam?

"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent." - Thomas Jefferson

Every society and religion has struggled with extremists. If you don't oppose them you are somewhat culpable.

Even our own US history is full of sad moments where people of good conscience were either silent or not in sufficient numbers to prevent our own poor actions and decisions.

She sounds like a white, urban liberal.

Here is some of the text so you don't have to waste your time.

This was a Heritage Panel to discuss Benghazi headed by Jim DeMint, the only thing stunning is why an audience member would ask an intelligent question with that panel makeup.

Islamophobic freak show

ELIAS ISQUITH (Salon.com)
Although
its reputation for intellectual seriousness was previously overstated, those who
worried that former South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint’s ascension as chief of the
Heritage Foundation would lead to the right-wing think tank’s disgrace are
looking mighty prescient after a Monday afternoon panel on the Banghazi attack’s
lingering “unanswered questions” devolved into a bigoted freak show.

When one considers the panelists involved, it’s unlikely the so-called
discussion was ever going to go too well. Alongside straight-up crank
and professional bigot Frank Gaffney, Heritage also
invited ACT! for America’s Brigitte Gabriel (known for repeatedly describing
Muslims as “barbarians“) and Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi’s
Clare Lopez (who previously described the Obama administration as having “switched sides” in the war on terror). Leading the conversation was Chris Plante, a conservative talk radio host.

If your Iraqi son turned twelve, the army would be at liberty to take him and you might never see him again.

You could be investigated by Iraq's secret police because a neighbor spying on you for the state happened to mention in his latest report that you seem suspicious.

Young men were routinely rounded up and never seen again as they were executed and buried in mass graves.

Reporters had their hands or their tongues cut off for reporting something the government didn't like.

Young women were pulled off the street to be beaten and raped by Uday Hussein.

Unlike the terrorists that ran Iraq, the US military allowed those unfortunate enough to find themselves in Saddam's army the opportunity to surrender whenever possible.

Those who were loyal to the Butcher of Baghdad and chose to engage the US military decided their own fate.

We really don't know how many Iraqis would have accepted the risk of civilian casualties to be rid of Saddam.

Most of them never experienced life without Saddam and never imagined they would have a chance to be free.

Sadly, most of them now seem clueless as to how to keep their freedom, but you can't fault the United States for doing what had to be done to at least give them a chance.
All of that is acceptable to liberals....Saddam was an enemy of the US. Yet if a friend or ally stand up in any way to terrorist acts by their neighbors or guests, they label them as evil.

The "head of the american peace movement" is the Nobel Peace Prize winning President of the United States along with his appointee Secretary of State John Kerry, or would you disagree?

If her words aren't "biblical truth" then you should have absolutely no problem citing every lie that was spoken in the video. I'll wait.
