If the New Testament doesn't DIRECTLY address homosexuality in a verse, then Jesus never addressed it.

Again, you Christians have said repeatedly that Old Testament law doesn't apply to Christians. You can't flip it when it becomes convenient.
The direct words of the risen Jesus Christ:

"But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Revelation 21:8

This thread has gone too off topic.

Now the homophobes are somehow the one's defending Israel on here (shameful to be on their side). Whatever.

It seems the general consensus is the Presbyterian Church has lost credibility and members due to unusual policies. It's great that they are pro-gay marriage, but it's totally unfair to punish an entire country through a boycott for the policies of the current government party that they don't agree with.

Idiots.

Advocating for acceptance of homosexuality and rejection of Israel is not "unusual policies", it is un-Christian policies. They can't any longer represent the church. Being opposed to homosexual behavior is not "homophobic", it is Christian. Sexual immorality cannot be condoned by the true church.

VERY well put Bideshi!!!!!!!!! It always sickens me that by doing the right thing, and what the Church requires gets Christians shunned. Oh well. So be it. No one says Christians "hate" homosexuals, just find it to be the wrong lifestyle. But they have to try and throw that silly "homophobe" garbage around. The people supporting the gay agenda have by far the louder voice in the matter, and if you go against it, they strike back in a more demeaning manner than anything the Christians do by adhering to their beliefs.

Yet Christians under Saddam regime were much more safer. I was against the US lead invasion of Iraq in the first place.

With regards to the claim that the Christians being murdered or expelled from the Middle East, However in Lebanon more Muslims than Christians want to permanently leave that country.

BEIRUT: Muslims are more likely to want to permanently leave Lebanon than Christians, according to new research released Sunday. A poll conducted by an Abu Dhabi-based think-tank showed that 35 percent of Shiite respondents and 34 percent of Sunnis would leave the country if they had the ability to do so, compared with 28 percent of Christians.

In addition Jordan is a very safe country for Christians to live in. Plus Israeli Jews visit that country everyday.

The non extreme fundamentalist Arab countries that are not have had experience recent war or the overthrow of the government there is the safest places for Christians to live BTW.
