In the light of the other planes shot down this week, why on earth was the Malaysian airliner allowed to fly in that area? Other countries weren't allowing their planes in that airspace.
Lots of gray areas, speculation, open ended questions, etc. surrounding this crash.
And lots of US politicians jumping on the bandwagon to give their "expert" opinions based on news stories that have not been confirmed.
It's amazing how the rebels claim to have shot down planes, but now are denying that they have the capability to do so. Morons all around, but the biggest blame lies with Russia for giving their expensive and powerful toys to untrained goons.
And McCain just said on CNN that the Ukraine doesn't have the technology to bring down a plane at that altitude, although he was in no way confirming the plane had been shot down or shot down by the Russia. He did say, however, that Russia had brought down the Ukrainian cargo plane last week.
McCain is senile.
A Vietnam era SAM-2 missile brought down Gary Powers's U-2 at 75,000 feet in 1960.
I'm sure that the Ukraine has 1957's weapons technology by now!
The shoot-down may have been a terrible mistake made by Russia - just like when the U.S. shot down an Iranian Airbus commercial flight over Iran airspace in the late 1980s.
Could be the case. Seriously we may never know who is responsible for this because both sides and their backers are very ruthless when it comes to civilian lives. Both sides political leaders (USA, Russia ,Ukraine) are remorseless ruthless liars.
Of course not. They are the innocent victims of a war raged by Russia.
They are allies of the US/EU and have gladly taken money from the IMF.
Their new government has been approved by the US/EU and got voted into power by an overwhelming majority.
I'll wait to see what the UN says and what real proof is provided.
The Ukraine government saying "Russia did it, not us" is just not proof enough.
Exactly. So far there's really not much to go on as to who did what.
Remember when the mainstream media announced the snipers were Russians? No evidence, but the mainstream media ran with it as fact anyhow. Remember when the anti-Jew leaflets were passed out that told Jews to report to somewhere or other? The mainstream media sold it as fact & began linking Putin to Hitler. Turns out the US is backing Svoboda in the Ukraine who're unabashed Nazis & supplied volunteers to the SS during WWII. These stories quietly disappeared when it became doubtful they were true. Just food for thought.
