A prank caller posing as a “sergeant” seemingly duped MSNBC’s “The Cycle” on Thursday, calling into the program to report that it appeared that Malaysian Flight MH17 was “shot down by a blast of wind from Howard Stern’s a**.”
During the “eyewitness exclusive,” co-host Krystal Ball apparently didn’t immediately realize that she was dealing with a prankster as she went on to ask the caller about his “military training.” .
Yes it was juvenile but there really is no excuse for her to have missed that! For God's sake she even repeated part of his reply back to him when she phrased her next question, how did she not hear the part about Howard Stern?!
I had no idea who she was before this, I googled her name and apparently she was involved in a scandal because pictures leaked of her at:
"holiday party dressed as a "naughty Santa" sucking a red ***** attached to her then-husband's nose and leading him around on a leash." The event quickly became a launching point for Ball, resulting in her being called upon by various news organizations for her inputs on the challenges faced by women in today's society and political environment."

So a woman with a stripper or porn star's name (Krystall Ball) has the poor judgement to allow herself to be photographed in public felating a sex toy at a racy party and she's the VICTIM of today's harsh society and political environment toward's women?!
I can see acting goofy at a party but if you are doing faux sex acts like this and someone is snapping pics, I'd say some alarm bells should be going off even if you are among friends.
She will probably use the same excuse to explain her flub with the prank caller. ZERO personal accountability. She's a victim. Let's play the gender card.
I thought it was the most apt thing said on cable TV about this incident . Most of our cable news talent are dumb asses, and their fine midtown Manhattan or Chevy Chase cloths and hair dtyling can't disguuise the fact.
