When I type messages using my smartphone, all I am essentially doing is taking my thumb and lightly tapping it gently against a glass touch screen with a screen protector over it.
Tapping a finger against a glass screen protector is totally harming NOBODY!
But....if someone tapped the glass screen protector in just the right combination of ways that they transmitted say lewd photographs to someone who they believed to be say a person under the age of 16,
Is it not a defense to say all this person was doing was 'tapping a finger against a glass screen protected smartphone screen and how guilty can such a person be for just tapping a finger?"
Also isn't it possible someone could have a thumb that is half asleep so they tap it against a surface and it just so happens the way that thumb tapped against the phone triggered a lewd photo to be transmitted unintentionally...and to someone say on Facebook who not of age?
The act is the crime not the cell phone or the intent. AFAIK they can arrest you for damn near anything involving cyber technology. That is why I an very careful about what I say on these forums. Big Brother, or at least his computers, IS watching and taking notes.
Most IED's are set off by someone tapping the screen on a phone. You might want to learn what you're talking about before you write something like this. There are thousands of dead military service people in this country who have died via IED. It's pretty disrespectful that you don't even know how they're detonated.
No, just a very different idea of how things should be in his own fantasy perfect world.
