Why don't more men speak out against street sexual harrassment directed at women? (racism, work)

My son stands up for women and he lost a male friend over it. He doesn't even care. It's not something I taught him either (wish I could say I did) it's just something he observed and decided on his own after seeing his female friends be treated poorly.
Not every man or woman has the guts to stand up to someone else, it's not our fight, we don't want to get involved, we might actually get targeted ourselves and we wouldn't want that.
Catcalling isn't innocent fun, it can be intimidating and it's what keeps half the population scared. If you are a man and ok with that I suggest you remain silent. If you aren't ok with it you don't have to confront strangers on the street (again, I know you are just as scared to get involved with unknown strangers as women are) but you can stop doing it yourself and talk to your friends if you see them doing it.
If you think this is woman overreacting to ever little thing and "crying rape" like you think it's a joke, I hope you daughter wives sisters and mothers can school you without having to be victims first.
Guys who say they prefer foreign women are normally the problem, so they prey on women they can barely communicate with but who will play deaf, dumb and stupid for them
Sorry, but there's a huge gray area and very little bs for people who have common sense
"Normally the problem" for whom?
Must be nice to live in a world where there is only one point of view that matters.
She apparently puts herself high above immigrant women.
I found it odd that she thinks only Americans speak English. My mom is an immigrant and she spoke English when she was dating my dad. My girlfriend is an immigrant and speaks better English than the vast majority of Americans.
I don't think someone cat calling would warrant yelling rape unless that person is very unstable. Now personally I've never seen anyone cat calling or sexually harassing a woman but I would think if this happens in your area then who ever it is happening to should confront the person themselves so they will get the point instead of expecting a stranger to do it for them.

One would have to question if she's lying or not. For all we know, she could be crying wolf.
I reside in a city/borough where street sexual harassment is a part of life (thankfully, I will be moving very soon). When I encounter sexual harassers, I usually cross the street, if the street harassment becomes too much to deal with. I never confront the man, out of fear that he will behave violently.
Yesterday, Good Morning America aired a segment about a woman who actually confronts her street sexual harassers, to explain why they should cease engaging in such disrespectful behavior (she has a youtube page, I'll include the videos below).
I wonder why respectful/nice guys rarely (if ever) intervene when they witness street sexual harassers in action?

Yeah sorry, I wasn't being specific of THIS woman, I meant women in general and spelled it wrong
