No, I never said I think America cannot do better, but to shove something down our throat, is not good, which can been seen, as we will still have the same amount of people unisured as before. Some gained some lost.

Anything is better than what we have right now or about to go into effect, or whenever it goes into effect. Even what we had before is better...just for the plain fact noone really knows much about what is going on.

Also, if you think any type of "single pay" option will not be very close to the VA systme run by the government, then you may need to think again.
Medicare is single payer. The VA is socialized medicine. Britain's NHS system is socialized medicine. Germany's system is somewhat single payer. The Swiss model is closer to the ACA.

I did not know the Swiss had 310,000,000 miliion peole.

How many use the VA? And look how screwed up it can be....

Yes, you are correct.
However at the same time the Dems also passed legislation that in the short term and long run have harmed those that already had coverage they liked in several ways.


"Do no harm" would be a good motto for Congress too.
