Who is "we"? Do you have a mouse in your pocket or are talking about the Fed Gov. like a true statist and including yourself as a part of it?

Think about it, all you have are faulty computer climate models, which are telling you what the climate will be like in 100 years. That is it!

There is no proof, you simply rely exclusively on the predictions from the same computer models that always fail to properly predict the earth's climate.

Did you like the part where they said "You aren't free to stop our government from taking action to mitigate climate change"? WHO the **** is this person to say such a thing? It's scary that there are useful idiots like they had in the USSR right here in America acting like they faint when they see or hear their Fuhrer speak.

I'm not part of the government. I am a part of the industry and have been for over 30 years.

ROFL....So it's about money and influence for you. Figures. You have no right to tell ANYONE what they can and can't engage the Feds on as a citizen of this country.

The government is not phasing out older power plants, they are writing new regulations to force them to close prematurely, and doing so without concern for replacing the power generation they provide.

The intelligent process would be to build new cleaner energy power plants, and as they come online, we retire the older dirtier power plants. But the Obama plan is to kill coal, without concern that "electricity rates will naturally skyrocket."

Weather models are also imprecise, but the public has learned to take their warnings about hurricane to heart. You may not like it, you may not agree with it, but we are changing the generation mix in this country to resources with low carbon footprints. The decision has really already been made. You need to learn to deal with it.

Actually it is your state utility commission that is making the important decisions in the electrical sector. You are certainly free to protest. As I said before we even allow people who believe the world is flat to speak in this country. We don't allow them to set policy though.
