Actually, those states that did not accept expanded Medicaid are having to cough up real money that they are losing because of reductions in fed funding to their hospitals.

Yup. That`s what GOD would want us to do. Me first!

Take note that almost every health care horror story reported in the media has originated from states that refused the Medicaid expansion.
Which means in your own words that in their effort to lower healthcare costs the Democrats have created a system that results in horror stories unless you accept increased government spending rather than lower spending.

So thanks for reinforcing our conservative point for us!

Pennsylvania’s Republican governor expands Medicaid - The Washington Post

I guess denying health coverage to millions of eligible Americans isn't the winning strategy it used to be for the GOP. Being down by double digits in the polls was probably a big motivator for Corbett to get this done now.
OP, this is not a real expansion of Medicaid. Under CorbettCare, the only "Medicaid" you're gonna get is subsidized private plans. Not all of the people earning below 133% of the poverty line are still going to be able to afford it. That being said, Tom Wolf said he's going to fully expand Medicaid as governor, and do away with this Healthy PA nonsense that Corbett dreamed up in his teacup

Hmmm, imagine if you could get a job through your healthcare insurer...

I am a registered independent who doesn't vote. far from a republican. and no people on earth are more hateful than liberals. there's a story on huffpo right now about a family that broke a record hunting alligators. liberals are commenting calling for the family to be executed.

Anyway, back on topic, I wouldn't celebrate this "Medicaid expansion" yet. This is just another attempt of shoving teabaggery down our throats before Corbett loses in November. I'll consider getting a Tom Wolf for PA bumper sticker sometime. Corbett is making a blatant attempt to try to win in November by releasing infrastructure funds just in time for the election. Releasing infrastructure funds? Sounds like the useless governor was purposely trying to hold out, trying to play cards in his favor. I hope that slimy snake oil salesman loses by a landslide.

Next step in the process is to get to work on that bunker.
