Only 142,000 new jobs were created in August, not enough to keep up with population growth, and labor force participation fell even further. The June and July reports were revised to reflect a gain of 28,000 fewer jobs than originally reported over the two months.
Its the end of summer, consumer confidence is down. Its an election year, so businesses won't grow for a little while until they see how some things shake out. Of course holiday and back to school additional jobs will pick up next months report, but we'll see then.

So....let me see if I understand the big picture:
Winter: Bad weather, fewer jobs.
Beginning of Summer: Good weather, more jobs.
End of Summer: Good weather, fewer jobs.
Election Season: Good/Bad weather, fewer jobs.
Winter: Bad Weather, fewer jobs.
At some point we have to stop making excuses about why the economy is in the ****ter and start asking ourselves what are the REAL reasons there are no good jobs.

No, but people who own and operate businesses know there are cycles in the job market and demand market.
When its back to school time, people don't buy things like cars and other high end items that employ a lot of people to make. So the job forecast usually goes down this time of year. And yes, very cold winter can stifle demand at stores.
Its not the governments job to create jobs anyway. Thats market driven. If anything in Washington is causing businesses not to hire, its that everyone thinks every politician, from both parties, are loony tunes and no one has any confidence in anything.

You make it sound as if there is a free market lol

No, the picture you don't seem to get when talking about Democrats, but you seem to get perfectly well when talking about Republicans is that unexpected things happen. Perhaps you can just change all of your posts to "This is concerning Democrats so I'm going to cry like a little girl"
Incidentally, Canada's GDP was impacted equally to the US based on the nasty winter weather which basically proves your childish whining about the weather's effect on GDP exactly that, childish whining. Feel free to actually read some articles on economics. Things like the mess we saw this winter are known to have GDP effects.
Were it not a Democrat in office, you'd have exactly the opposite opinion.

George Bush didn't tell these businesses to curtail hiring? I though he was the cause of all of Obama's failed policies.

Blah. Blah. Blah.
There's that word "unexpectedly" again!
Anything to protect Barack H. Obama is your modus operandi. We get it! Trust me, we get it!
