There is very little ethnic tension amongst those 92% of Hans. That's about one billion people. I am pretty sure there is very little ethnic tension among those white Russians.

Reply to a post where author defied us to name any city with over 100,000 blacks has massive problems with blacks. There are at least 250,000 black people in metro Phoenix. I recall that he also said 7% which is about what is in the Phoenix metro area. What I am saying is that it is segregation, poverty, lack of opportunity and hopelessness that lead to violence. Western and some southern cities in which minorities are better integrated into the community - i.e. diverse - have far fewer problems than cities in the east where segregation by race and warehousing of poor minorities is still common.

Phoenix only has 98,000 blacks, not 250,000.

I believe a multi-racial society can be a cohesive society but a multi-cultural one not so much.

No, there's ethnic dispute among different Russian ethnic groups. You're of the impression that Europe has never experienced ethnic tension. Read European history.

Does that say something about multi-cultural or multi-racial society?
No...The Chinese only have small flare ups like Tiananmen.

And the Japanese had such a great society that they had to be nuked into common sense.

Geez...where do you people get this stuff.

Multiculturalism promotes segregation and discrimination.
When did we practice assimilation? Because I need to ask my grandparents about it. Somehow they failed to mention that to me.

Not at all, our neighbors to the north are more diverse.

America is only just now (21st century) becoming more "assimilated" more blending of cultures and a generation less intolerant of people who have different skin color.
