Gun ownership and suicide rates are not related. I can think of no clearer proof of this than Japan, which on average has maybe four gun deaths nationwide, and which ranks 3rd in the world for highest suicide rates.

The U.S. on the otherhand, with all of it's 300,000,000 guns and thousands of gun deaths per year, doesn't even rank in the top 30 nations world-wide for suicide rates.

Yes, it truly is a war on women.

The Left doesn't see it that way though, they have convinced themselves that owning a gun actually puts women in more danger than the threat from a rapist, murderer, or stalker.

And the women who will die or be assaulted because they don't have a way to defend themselves? They don't count. They're not as important. Just collateral damage, a martyr for the cause.
