My thoughts are that his comments are fairly accurate. Daniel and Henrik Sedin, who both play in the NHL for the Vancouver Canucks, are commonly called the "Sedin Sisters". However, since they're both white males.....it's cue the crickets.
I don't think his statement was a racist comment, but it was definitely a sexist comment and a totally inappropriate comment from someone who is president of the Russian Tennis Federation.

She just had to pull that race card, didn't she. Pathetic.
Have to say though the fact that her or her sister don't have mates with their amount of wealth screams volumes about their supposed "beauty" you hear from people all over the place.
It was a joke. What...are they off limits from being made fun of because they're black? Sorry, that's not how it works. Remember, when being "funny" everyone is a target or no one is. Make up your minds.
Not to mention, they do look a bit manly. That's just a fact. Let's not be PC and say they're sexy women just to make them feel better about themselves. They are what they are, it is what it is.
What does she expect? She and her sister DO look like MEN. I pity the woman player that plays either one of them. It seems unfair to me.
