Yeah the selfie thing is a bit mind-boggling and stupid. Still, different strokes for different folks, and I have a serious issue when those in LE go above the law like this in a blatant violation of one's privacy! The cops should absolutely be fired!
I agree. That being said, everyone knows the CA cops are the thickest slime on the planet, so, why would
any female give up their cell phone or password ?
Give it a break. Teachers; preachers and priest and perverts do worse everyday. Looking at nake pictures may get those involved fired but not sent to prison.
It's not that they look. It's that they looked and distributed without permission. They stole those pictures.

It's more exciting to steal a picture. It's also more humiliating to circulate a picture of somebody you arrested. This is not about sex at all. It's about abuse of power and humiliation.
More fine print in our Faustian bargain. We give Leviathan all the power so we can be cared for and tended without using our own effort, and stuff like this is simply paying the devil his due.
