It's interesting hearing different perspectives. You blame the division of the country on Mr. and Mrs. Obama. Personally. I blame conservatives and Republicans. Everyone sees things differently.

Amazingly similar to what was said 2 years ago when Mia Love ran, and did lose, and when Tim Scott was appointed to the senate - and yet, here we are with both of them elected by the popular vote.

You can cry gerrymandering all you want in Utah, but you can't even try it in South Carolina as it was a statewide election.

Look it up and get back to us.

hint: First 2 years of Obama's term he had FULL control (and by full, I mean FULL - no filibusters) he chased Obamacare.

After 2010 the Republicans had 1/2 of 1/3 control of government...to blame them is simply stupid.
Apparently you dont know how it works, or at least the details. Somehow you've turned two and a half months of filibuster proof control into two years. A common talking point from the right which is factually incorrect:

The Myth of the Filibuster-Proof Democratic Senate

Which causes one to ask...is Jeremiah Jones running a Satanic cult?
He must if you point out his religious affliliation. God damn America!

The 44th POTUS is a real piece of unacceptable art.

Someone suggested Republicans could elect Condi Rice, Ben Carson or Colin Powell for president. I simply said it will never happen. They may say they would but in the privacy of the voting booth, they would just vote for someone else. Not for president.

Who invented the inane "one drop" rule?

I can think of several reasons but would love to hear your version.

Per your rule...half Japanese and half Mexican always = black?

His economic record says otherwise.

If he is so corrupt, why is he still in office?

No double standard. I am still unhappy about Bush's Patriot act as well as Clinton's FISA courts.

We are still in a recession.

Why still in office?

The senate brings up treason charges and who owned the senate? On top of that...who is the crooked AG Obama took away from Congressional hearings via EO? Two very good reasons.

The real reason why some democrats lost in the midterm election is that they were trying to distance themselves from Obama. To win, you have to choose sides, and not act like a typical evasive politician.

And the real reason some of you hate Obama is that you're disappointed in your progress at reaching your goals, which is hurt by not having a good enough education. While Obama is from Harvard and has been successful in his career beyond your wildest dreams. It's normal for losers to hate winners. Not that all of you are losers, but there are a lot of Obama haters whose hatred comes partly from bitterness at their own failures, and a sense of being wronged by having someone who seems inferior to them, having so much more success than them.

Obama is a lot more intelligent than most of you think he is. He might make a lot of mistakes that make him seem stupid. But a lot of those mistakes are partly because of the times we live in. Think how things might be if we had elected McCain or someone like that. We might presently be at war with a lot of different countries at once, including Iran, North Korea, and God only knows who else. Obama often seems like a stupid wimp, but it takes a lot of wisdom to be able to avoid wars against people who hate us. Compared to that, none of his mistakes really matter much. I recognized Obama's intelligence when he had a live debate before the election, where he couldn't prepare his words in advance. A lot of very intelligent people often make a lot of mistakes and seem stupid, but he's done a lot more good than bad.

Harry Truman was one of the most hated presidents, partly because of his conflict with General McArthur. But after he left office, he gradually, over a period of years, became one of the most loved and respected ex presidents. I wonder if the same thing might happen with Obama.
