I hear they are increasing the guard presence. This was fumbled from the start. They should have had the guard out protecting stores and other targets last night.

Personally, I believe that was intentional because everyone wanted - so badly - to not appear to be over reacting and to face the criticism they did from August. So they went the other way with disastrous results. Of course, I did note the same people who were screaming the police were too strong a presence before are now screaming the police should have done more last night. Figures.
People in Minneapolis are getting fed up with these protestors.
I would never run over another human being with my vehicle but i also would not stand in the middle of the intersection to block traffic... i'll stand on the sidewalk where its safer to get my word out.
This guy has to give an absurdly long drawn out answer - to hopefully make potential rioters think about the facts.
I'm betting only a small number of them were even LISTENING to the facts - let along, agreeing with them.
They would have created a riot either way - they just needed an excuse. Had they indited him they would have rioted in 'celebration'...
Yesterday, when I heard that they were announcing their decision at 8pm CST, I thought 'Why? It's night time and gives more danger to the mix'... Then, after I thought about it - it also gave time for businesses to be closed, for law abiding citizens to be home, safe in their own home.
The thugs that want to use violence to protest violence (which makes no sense at all!) - don't care WHAT time of the day or night it is - they're hell bent on creating a riot - destruction - violence - just to prove a point.
There's little intelligence in thought from those that do this and - you see what is the result.
