So very true.......

Everything was handed to Hillary. She married into the White House, paid Bill back by backing him when he started interning the interns, and was presented with both a Senate seat and the State Department. Her entire resume reads, “I am Bill Clinton’s nominal wife.”

I'm not so sure about that. I think she is going to go out of her way to distance herself from Obama. I can hardly wait to hear what she has to say about his Presidency.

Amnesty won't hurt Hillary. Lindsay Graham who is not so affectionately referred to as Grahamnesty in some quarters just won re-election to a Senate seat in SC. The issue is a career killer in R primaries. And a dirty little secret is that some Rs are fine with it because they need a labor pool.

Ferguson is a mess- but its not even Obama's mess. Its simply reason #435 to hate Obama if you already did. If anything it (rightly or wrongly) fires up AA voters.

I think 2016 will be the same as 2000, 2004 and 2012- a base election- whoever gets their folks to show up wins with a 50-53% share of the vote.

I think the wars or Bill's propensity to suck up all available oxygen will be a bigger problem for Hillary.

Obama made Brown a hero........the mess in Ferguson should never have been international news.

As Barack Obama invites in five million illegals to scoop up American jobs, and as those normal Americans lucky enough to still have jobs wait in traffic while morons block the freeway because some Swisher Sweets-puffing felon got himself killed, Hillary Clinton’s chances in 2016 plummet.
That's the first sentence of that well written, informative Town Hall Article. I didn't bother reading the rest, but I'm sure there is some mention of Obama toasting bunnies with a flame thrower while Hilary laughs like a demon.

OK, I read a few more sentences.
It is important to understand that neither the executive amnesty scam nor the bogus outrage over Ferguson actually had anything to with race per se.
Nope. It was all about the white illegals and those white kids who got killed in a white neighborhood by a black cop.

Obama and his gang are Marxists.
Marxism : a theory and practice of socialism including the labor theory of value, dialectical materialism, the class struggle, and dictatorship of the proletariat until the establishment of a classless society

This was always about class.
He's a Marxist. He doesn't want class. Do you not even know what the word you are using even means?

The Obama coalition is not the traditional Democrat coalition.
No, it's totally different, I'm sure. Tell us more.

It is primarily a class coalition.
From a soon to be classless society. PSST.... He's a MARXIST!!!

It is the Democrat Party base and nothing more, made up of rich/academic upper class whites, the unionized government hack sub-class, and lower class welfare recipients.
Yep, rich white people, unions and welfare people. That's all they got.

When it won in 2008 and 2012, the coalition added just enough others to push it over the top.
And let us not forget, they kicked Romney's ass. God, it was bad. They kicked it like a man kicking an empty chair. Or talking to one. Because that would just be nuts. Imagine a bunch of Republicans watching some old dude talk to a chair. As if. Amiright or amiright? WINK WINK.

But now, those others – primarily middle and working class people employed in the private sector – are fleeing to the GOP.
Save US GOP. We are the 99 percent. We love you! HUGS AND KISSES.

And those were the people Hillary was counting on supply enough votes to win.
And they are totally all gonna be GOP'rs now, said no sane person, ever.

Welfare people are scum that hang with Obama.
Medicaid, Social Security and school lunch are all forms of welfare.

I think you know what to do, people. Rise up, throw off the chains, burn those checks, refuse that government aid and join the GOP.

I disagree.

Social security is something I paid into for 50 years and I paid a lot.

Growing tired of the howling from the anti-boomer generation, about how we are going to get back more from SS and steal it from younger generations in 2012 I decided to find out exactly what I did pay in.

So I looked up my SS statement online and while I don't want to share everything how about I share the first 15 years from 1966 to 1980? Here is some real numbers, my first 15 years remember inflation (the cruelest tax of all) has been a factor in my lifetime.

So how much money was this?

Column A is year
Column B is the average bank passbook savings around interest rate which I found at the url on the spreadsheet.
Column C is my annual earnings. Some is skewed like 1968 and 1969 when I was in the army and in Vietnam we weren't taxed on our pay so i actually did earn more than shown. I think I was paid $333.month but the lower amount is on my SS statement.
Column D was the combined social security taxes % rate paid by both the employer and employee.
Column E was the combined medicare taxes % paid by both the employer and employee.
Coilum F was the total amount of SS taxes paid, Column G was the total amount of medicare taxes paid while Column H is the combined total.
Column J was the interest I would have earned had the amounts collected been put into a simple bank savings passbook.
Column K was the accumulated amount of principle and interest I would have had in my passbook over my lifetime.

Of course this is the first 15 years and for a lot of that time I worked for pretty low wages as a flight instructor but even so if you factor inflation the $5,850 I earned in 1975 it would be equivalent to $25,162 today or about $12.50/hr. I guess I wasn't paid as poorly as I thought at the time after all.

Then in the late 70's I changed careers and continued to earn more every year. In 1980 I was 32 years old and earned $19,900 which factored for inflation would be equivalent to $55,885 today. You have to look at everything through the prism of inflation especially the wonderful years of Jimmy Carter.

Like everything through life I had good years and bad. Some years were really good and others not so good but all in all it was a good ride.

But the interesting thing is over 46 years had the money placed with social security been put into a simple passbook savings around in my name I would have $642,601.28 in my account. Even at 2% interest that total would earn $1,071.00 every month for the rest of my life without touching principal starting at the first of this year!

Where is it Gen X and Y come across thinking we are going to take out more then the boomers put in?

So how much do you suppose I would receive in Social Security benefits should I take them when I turn 66 in a year? SS estimates my benefit will be $2,131/month. I feel a tingle up my leg.

At a 1% return rate, simple bank savings account again, I could withdraw $2,952.83/month until I am 85 years old before I run out of money. $2,952.83/month is a whole lot better than $2,131/month.
At 2% rate and 15 years I would be at $4,128.31/month. Be broke as heck at age 80.

Actuaries put me living to age 76 so we will see how I come out.

As I said the $642,601.28 figure was in 2012 and I am still working full time, still paying my taxes and even though I am full retirement age I am not drawing social security yet so there sits the money. Today that figure would be over $700k and you need to keep in mind that is from a simple bank account.

So when I do draw it it's "welfare"?

What the hell will Hilary run on, the war on women, a "hands up" slogan to inflame racial tensions even more, raise taxes and address the nonexistent global warming crisis by creating even more crazy EPA regulations than Obama, or maybe start a new war on nuclear power?

Nope, you still need to go through all the money of people that never collected or collected very little.

Hillary is a clever woman and Bill still has his finger firmly on the pulse of the American electorate...if she survives the primaries I bet she runs to the right of any Republican challenger.
