As for Warren, I have heard or read a great many of her speeches, as well as her terrific autobiography, and I can't ever remember her advocating for something that was unpopular with the American people. Her economic policy prescriptions generally garner 70-80% when polled. Prosecuting the bankers who brought down the economy with their reckless and illegal bank fraud? Check. Breaking up the biggest banks? Check. Strong oversight of the big banks provided by agencies like the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau? Check. Expanding Social Security benefits? Check. Raising the minimum wage? Reforming the student loan system and reducing student debt? Check. Making a big investment in roads and bridges and education? Check. All of those policies are strongly supported by the American people. Rather than being an extremist, Elizabeth Warren is right in line with most Americans on what she is advocating, certainly far more than beltway pundits bloviating about what responsible centrism is or is not, and certainly more so that conservatives who want to do the opposite of all the popular policies cited above."

I'm afraid your post says more about you than anything else. Evidently she is not even in line with most liberal democrats! 66%-9%

Poll finds Clinton up 57 points on Warren

"Warren insists she is not running, despite an effort by liberal groups like MoveOn.org to convince her to run."

moveon.org.....nuff said.

I don't think she has the smarts or experience to run the country. Hillary at least has the experience and background. Warren too much like a community organizer to me...we need some intelligence as we are at a very dangerous crossroad globally.

I would like to be able to support her but she started off poorly. I do have a problem with the "you didn't build that" statements. I do have a problem with someone making $350,000 to teach a class complaining about the cost of an education.
I agree. Try bringing down the greedy professor's salaries and reduce the cost of medical school to bring down the cost for the peoples.....I think professors should be given a basic living wage....

The thing is in a basic way that is what would have to be done to accomplish what she says unless her idea of solving the problem is to print, print, print money.

Now maybe she could come out for ending all the wars. Like Obama did.

You said it best; I would think that in itself would stop her from any attempt to run. She would get exposed for what she is and isn't.

Oh, she'll run. She is delusional. Wouldn't surprise me if she won either. The voters in this country are so starved for political reform, they do not look at all the warning signs of that politician. They tried Obummer, then even re-elected him, now why not try the professor? If anyone connected to Massachusetts should end up in the WH again, it should have and should be Mitt Romney.

Who is going to expose her, the media?
They are doing a good caretaker job for HRC.

The media has created the obama. The only people that might expose EW will be the HRC folks who suggested Obama was not a citizen.

Any less obviously tells the tale where they actually support the collusion.

Do you Support People, Corporations and Banks standing on their Own Two Feet or Not is what it comes down to.
She's not going after Wall Street, she's going after business owners. You know, "you didn't build that"?

And while she rails against big banks, she conveniently forgets that it was the Tea Party movement that protested against the bailouts. So yea, conservatives have seen saying they need to be reigned in. But they also support small businesses owners, unlike Warren.
