Yep.
Garner had an extensive criminal record. And Garner died of a heart attack, not strangulation. He had such severe medical heart and asthma problems he was extremely fragile health wise, yet he CHOSE to resist the police.
Also, DeBlasio likes to just focus on what victims blacks are, not how difficult it is for cops to always do exactly the right thing. DeBlasio commanded them to CRACK DOWN on illegal cigarette sellers.

Because we know that is not true. Why must we deal in absolutes? ALL cops GOOD - no complaints allowed. Period, stop, end of story.

Is this the America you want?

On the flip side - not all black men shot were innocent of wrongdoing.

There is no 100 RIGHT or 100% WRONG on either side and that is the position we are all arguing.

Do you believe that there are bad cops? Anywhere? If so, what should we do about those that abuse their power without ruining things for the majority who do a good job?

Can we have an honest discussion about this or must be all believe that no policeman or person in authority ever abuse their power?

I thought that's why all conservatives are anti-gun control; at least that's the argument frequently espoused - that way the American people can never be completely controlled as in Hitler's germany.
Nice trick. Create your own argument, attribute it to other people, then debunk it. I think in Latin that's called 'Arguendo Stupido.'

As many on this thread have proven, De Blasio went way beyond criticizing A cop, or A single act, or even Only Garner's death.

No one has 'proven' anthing on this thread. It's an internet debate forum. Talk about "argeundo stupido".

Can you see all sides of an issue or just your own?

No. One district court ruled it was illegal and the city was winning on appeal before the mayor stopped it. The basic case info is right on Wikipedia. Courts have ruled repeatedly that cops can do a limited protective frisk without a warrant or probable cause.

Where did you get your law degree? Link to court rulings saying the cops can frisk you just because they want to. I'll wait.

His heart attack was caused by "the neck compressions from the Pantaleo’s chokehold and “the compression of [Garner’s] chest and prone positioning during physical restraint by police,” As we talk about which events led to his death you can't leave out that the physical altercation was apart of it.

I find it funny that victim is supposed to be a bad word. It means that someone has done something negative to you. If someone keeps doing something to you then yes you can be a victim at more than one time. Some try and stop the negative behavior from continuing.

That crack down on loosies is hilarious. Loosies. Really? Sounds like an offense that should warrant a ticket.

Stop And frisk was actually proven to be a failure in NYC. Locking up teens over nickle bags of weed and other crap.

Nope; they expressed their opinion as is their right. Strange anyone wanting to suppress that peaceful act.
