On December 22, The First International Exchange of Information started an internet auction of a unique 12-minute video dated 1992 with the participation of the mayor of Saint Petersburg Anatoly Sobchak and head of the Committee for External Relations of the Saint Petersburg Mayor's Vladimir Putin, now the President of Russian Federation.
The starting price of the video is 30 Bitcoins. The buy-now price of the item is set to 2000 Bitcoins that is approximately 623 thousand dollars at the current rate. Seller's name is not disclosed. The auction will continue till February 1, 2015, organizers report.
