Good golly folks. Republicans spend other peoples money too! turns out that if both parties are spending our money, and we voted them in....then we are spending our money.

Are you saying the liberals have been the main drivers of the military industrial complex? If so you might have some issues.

So predictable it's pathetic. Right on que "Well Bush did...". Liberals seem totally incapable of discussing anything without dragging Bush into it. Are liberals generous with other peoples money, yes or no? What Bush did or didn't do has nothing to do with the question.

Would you prefer we discussed prior Republicans? Its not exactly hard to do. People pick Bush because he was the most recent. Name the last Republican president who presided over a reduction in spending?

Yeah.

Its interesting that we are once again talking about free handouts to be:

Welfare
Free Healthcare
Free College Education
Free Phones etc etc

But Free Handouts are not:
Extreemly overpriced private government contracts
Goverment tax breaks and incentives to create jobs for corporations who create no new american jobs.
Bailouts!
Etc etc

People need to get there heads out of the sand because neither party is working for americans. The two parties and the system is broken and sick. To argue one party over another is kinda like a form of denial in my opinion.

In the case of the latter the government (usually the individuals that pushed the changes) gets back goods or more money or campaign contributions.

You mean the individuals who have the most money to flood washington with lobbiest? Kinda defeats the ideal of a true equal democracy and supports a more class society. Take a look at elections. WE the people could vote something in and someone with money can just go and hire a team of lawyers in court to argue the constitutionality of something? Is this privilege or right open to any citizen who believes something is unconstitutional even if they can't afford to hire a team of lawyers?

No we can't except on the local level.

At the national level..Presidents are SELECTED, not elected.

They give us 2 guys to pick from. No matter which one we pick "they" win.

No, not true at all. Most people have no choice.

Dems fully support our bloated military budget. If you don't understand that, you might have some issues.

Governments are generous with other people's money.

To say that governments have no right to spend other people's money is to say that governments have no right to govern. Many very principled people do say that; I think all-out political anarchism is wishful thinking, but I can respect the wish. But singling out the one black guy in a long series of mostly diabolical authoritarians is not respectable and is, as you would put it, "predictable."
