How do you "get robbed by conservatives," when Conservatives are concerned with taking anything away from you????
Conservatives can't get robbed. They fall in one or the other category:
- They are self-defeaters with nothing to be robbed.
- They are brain washed into giving anything and everything (including their lives, as we see being very prevalent in the middle east today... they will blow themselves up to propagate their conservatives "principles").
My parents became more liberal on certain things as they got older. Others have told me the same.
I think the Aging population today is different then many in the past. I see many people moving from one side to the other on specific topics. You really can't be 100% conservative or Liberal on every topic out there.
While not a truly 'Conservative' position (Religously Conservative maybe) most of America has switched from being Against Gay Marriage to being Pro, or ok with it, over the last ten years. Myself included. I'm still Pro-Choice for everyone, but Pro life personally, which would be a move to the Right according to some. America has also become less Religous over the last 50 years. Myself incuded.
The personal median income in 2012 was $26,989 - per year.
If you're struggling to make ends meet on $450K/year, you're a complete idiot with money.
Times have changed.
To put it in context, $450K today is probably only about $200K thirty years ago. Ask your typical hardworking doctor, engineer, lawyer, financial manager, etc., how easy it is to get along on $37,500 a month.
Yes, there are plenty of people making less. But if we don't fight for lower taxes for the higher earners, nobody will be better off.

Well as you can see. They aren't really after the big bad banker, they're after anyone they can fleece hoping they can get their hands on some of it. That's greed.
I think of rich as not having to worry about money, not worrying about paying for school loans, not having to worry about retirement, not having to worry about saving for your kids’ educations.
I guess that means the poor are rich, they don't worry because government just robs people to give it to them.

If being poor is such a deal, why don't you just become poor?

An intelligent, rational person can become a blathering idiot in a matter of seconds.
No matter how much time he spends, a blathering idiot will never become an intelligent, rational person.
Did you know that you could have tons of money and still be considered poor by your standards
Get a clue!
Yoiu're the one blathering on about how good the poor have it. So, become poor then if it's so great.
