I love St Louis but only a blind person can't see that crime in this city is out of control. I don't care if people want to close their eyes to reality but the vast majority of the crime in the city is committed by African Americans.

St Louis is a pretty rough city in parts.

I'm getting popcorn to watch all the raciphoebiphoebs come out of the woodwork to lay you out!

These people can't call black crime what it is, but are quick to call anyone who does a racist. Same with calling Islamic terrorism; Islamic terrorism, claiming to protect the Constitution while chiseling away at it, mad at the off-shoring of jobs while villainizing the job creators and taxing them into another country...etc.

They're just hypocrites, and proud of it.

Meh, who cares what race they are. Just be ready to shoot, shovel and shut up when the vermin try to make you a victim.

Why thank you so much for analyzing the truth. Because what you state is so true, whether others want to admit it or not.

Hypocrites, you got it.

St. Louis is consistently in the top 5-10 for most gun homicides on a per capita basis. It does not get nearly the attention Chicago does, even though Chicago is not in the top 10.

Gun laws are relatively loose in Mo. Concealed and open carry are accepted. Why have these liberties not reduced gun homicides?

Recently, the age to apply for a permit was lowered from 21 to 19, cities within the state are banned from banning open carry and teachers are allowed to carry in schools.

Does anyone know if gun homicides in St Louis tend to be black on black , gang related and concentrated in black neighborhoods , the way it is in Chicago? Or is something else going on?

Good points, you would think St Louis would be a safe and crime free city to live in for being in such a gun friendly state. Why wasn't any of those gun carrying owners able to prevent all thus crime from happening?

St Louis is not much different from other cities but the gap between rich and poor is huge.

In the same metro area, you have suburbs like O'Fallon which is a great suburb, often ranks among the top 100 places to live in the USA and East St Louis, IL which is an absolute craphole, one of the most violent and crime infested cities in the nation

Law abiding concealed carry individuals are not in the ghettos where this black on black crime is most prevalent.
Concealed carry is for self defense, not crime prevention.
