Didn't Obama state he wouldn't sign it if it cost over a trillion?
He had the CBO come in with numbers he wanted, didn't he.

Hi ho hi ho its off to work we go:
Obamacare program costs $50,000 for every American who gets health insurance | Daily Mail Online
Quote:
It will cost the federal government – taxpayers, that is – $50,000 for every person who gets health insurance under the Obamacare law, the Congressional Budget Office revealed on Monday.

The number comes from figures buried in a 15-page section of the nonpartisan organization's new ten-year budget outlook.

The best-case scenario described by the CBO would result in 'between 24 million and 27 million' fewer Americans being uninsured in 2025, compared to the year before the Affordable Care Act took effect.

Pulling that off will cost Uncle Sam about $1.35 trillion – or $50,000 per head.

I was curious so I did the math. $1,450,000,000,000

So that's another trillion and a half. I'm sure the Chinese will cut us a check tomorrow.

Thats 50k per person to make sure they are insured, which is not to be confused with actual health care. What a travesty.

We could make a parody of this statement from Obama, by him adding another $2 trillion onto the backs of the people:

“The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion dollars for the first 42 presidents -- number 43 added $4 trillion dollars by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion dollars of debt that we are going to have to pay back -- $30,000 for every man, woman and child,” Obama said on July 3, 2008, at a campaign event in Fargo, N.D.

“That's irresponsible. It's unpatriotic,” said candidate Obama.

This abomination is getting worse by the day. How is this costing us so much, when the bulk of the law says "dah, you buy insurance now or we fine you!" How did that take 2000 pages, months of tying up Congress and $2 trillion to accomplish?

Pay me $1 million and I'll give you my Obamacare slim version. It fits on a post-it note:

1.) Pass a law you have to have insurance or face a fine.
2.) Set up an expansion of Medicaid to pool funds to help insure people with pre-existing conditions and low-income households.
3.) Exempt all of this administration's crony buddies and campaign donors from compliance.

Done.

So, it's $5K per person per year? Isn't that about average?
