Those countries are tiny and homogeneous. There are some metro areas in the US that have a far larger population than those countries. NY MSA alone has more people than all three of those countries combined.
What difference does that make? They're still sovereign nations that do quite well for themselves.

They are small homogenous nations that aren't superpowers so yes that makes a huge difference. The US is a very diverse country and the more diversity you have the more disagreement you have and arguing over resources. Those countries having small homogenuis populations means they have less disagreements since people are more similar to each other and they don't fight over resources as much. They also aren't superpowers and those have a lot less to worry about in regards to foreign policy and don't get the attention of the rest of the world much which allows those countries to focus more on domestic issues.
As far as who has the best political system goes...we really only have a few countries that can compare to the United States in regards to size, diversity, corruption, etc. those countries are Russia, China, India, Brazil and the EU (yes I know it's not a country but it's a good comparison none the less). As far as Russia and China goes there are both authoritarian regimes so it's not even close with the US being better. India I'm going to say isn't as good as the US is either due to developmental problems they have had and the rise of extremist Hinduism that has been allowed to grow in power politically in India. Brazil is a lot more corrupt then the US is and runs state enterprises and the politicians use the profits from state enterprises to give kick backs to there backers and pocket money themselves.
As far as the EU goes the actual European Union as a form of government is actually pretty horrible from any democratic point of view. There parliament doesn't draft any legislation. It's done in closed committees and parliament just gets to vote yeah or nay on it without drafting any of it at all. Most individual countries in the EU have decent to really great political systems...the EU is not like that though. The United Kingdom could very well leave the European Union in the future if things keep on going as they have been. The UK might not be the only country that does so either. So for what the United States being a large federation and for it's size and diversity it's political system has stood the test of time pretty well. If it is/was as bad as others on here post regularly we would've got rid of the US constitution a long time ago and created a whole new form of government/political system. I don't know if I would call it the greatest but it's definitely far from the worst.
Of course America has the most copied system in the world and the longest standing Democracy. But I like what some countries are doing with our system.
Germany has the "Pirate Party" that was started by young tech gurus. You have an app on your phone that allows you to give your input directly to your lawmaker before he/she votes on an issue you feel strongly about. So I think Germany seems to really be perfecting our system.

^ ^ Germany is a good suggestion. They also have a "2-tiered" educational system that recognizes the need for both universities and trade schools, and tries to work with Industry to fill anticipated skill needs, rather than just pumping out a glut of useless degrees for the sake of "higher education". And instead of the traditional "Management vs Labor" frictions we have, guaranteed Labor representation alongside Management is built right into their constitution.
But unfortunately few other countries are quite as "diverse" as the U.S., and Germany doesn't seem to have any better answers for accommodating "immigration" than we do. Although at least their history reminds them what not to do!
There is growing support in Germany for a new political party. Alternative fur Deutschland (AfD) acknowledges the need for migrant workers but still wants tighter controls on immigration. This, though, is a country still haunted by the atrocities of World War Two. People here are mindful of how devastating the consequences of "Rassenhass" - racial hatred - can be.
With the New World Order well underway, and the intellectual push to world socialism at all cost, there no longer is a political system that is the best.
They are all corrupt.
Yep. It's sad that our country does have the greatest blueprint on how a government should function, and yet those that we elect no longer adhere to it.
