The world looks at the GOP and see 'diabolical pride'. CS Lewis, a Christian author, wrote diabolical pride is the greatest vice or all. The opinions or the world and the American people are irrelevant to them. The only thing which is relevant is to make themselves feel they are somehow relevant, or better than someone else.

It's like the high school boy who stole another guys girlfriend not because he liked the girl, but to make himself feel he is better than the other guy.

They already showed their color, they're not loyal to the United States, their loyalty is for Israel.

7 Times Democrats Advised America's Enemies to Oppose the President

  1. Senators John Sparkman (D-AL) and George McGovern (D-SD). The two Senators visited Cuba and met with government actors there in 1975.
  2. Senator Teddy Kennedy (D-MA). In 1983, Teddy Kennedy sent emissaries to the Soviets to undermine Ronald Reagan’s foreign policy.
  3. House Speaker Jim Wright (D-TX). In 1984, 10 Democrats sent a letter to Daniel Ortega Saavedra, the head of the military dictatorship in Nicaragua, praising Saavedra for “taking steps to open up the political process in your country.”
  4. Senator John Kerry (D-MA). Kerry jumped into the pro-Sandanista pool himself in 1985, when he traveled to Nicaragua to negotiate with the regime. He wasn’t alone; Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) joined him.
  5. Representatives Jim McDermott (D-WA), David Bonior (D-MI), and Mike Thompson (D-CA). In 2002, the three Congressmen visited Baghdad to play defense for Saddam Hussein’s regime.
  6. Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV). In 2002, Rockefeller told Fox News’ Chris Wallace, “I took a trip by myself in January of 2002 to Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria, and I told each of the heads of state that it was my view that George Bush had already made up his mind to go to war against Iraq, that that was a predetermined set course which had taken shape shortly after 9/11.”
  7. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). In April 2007, as the Bush administration pursued pressure against Syrian dictator Bashar Assad, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi went to visit him. There, according to The New York Times, the two “discussed a variety of Middle Eastern issues, including the situations in Iraq and Lebanon and the prospect of peace talks between Syria and Israel.”

Has any of this been mentioned during the coverage of this by CNN or MSNBC?

I think it's outrageous. If they're unable to convince Obama to do things their way, they should direct their energy towards being effective in that regard rather than undermine the president.

I'm sick of the entire lot of them. These people are all drunk with power.

Meanwhile HRC approved of Pelosi and friends trip to the middle east. What made her change her mind now?

"Of course Nancy Pelosi was right to go to Syria, says Sen. Hillary Clinton. Only idiot Republicans and their friends in the press think otherwise, added Oliver Willis."

Dems who relinquished their responsibility as the peoples' representatives and passed obamacare without reading or undestanding the legislative yoke they placed on the backs of Americans are guilty of criminal charges as well as treason.

"WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The White House has criticized House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's plans to stop in Syria next week during a Middle East trip that began Friday."

"This week U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi concluded her visit to the Middle East in Damascus, Syria, to which President George W. Bush’s response was that her visit “sends mixed messages.” While Pelosi’s delegation to the region should be met with applause for refusing to participate in isolating Syria, her visit to Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria should be met with a great deal of caution."

"U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Syria stirred praise and skepticism from a variety of female political leaders in the Middle East. Many hope her visit signals a U.S. shift toward greater dialogue and engagement in the region."
