Don't feel bad I think most liberal democrats vote that way because they are programed by the liberal media. It's informed people like yourself that do the research.

Did you happen to see the Clinton interview with Chris Wallace...probably not, it was on Fox News. Anyway, I'm not saying he didn't try...however...he didn't succeed either, did he?

I cannot figure out why so many people are saying that Bush lied about the WMD. Such short memories. The republicans and democrats (as you stated) were in agreement that almost EVERYONE thought Saddam had WMD. I think part of what happened is that Bush (trying to pacify the "diplomacy seekers") gave him ample notice to get rid of them. Saddam knew Bush wasn't kidding.

Oh, Lord, what do I know? Thanks for appeasing me, though!!
Don't you know the ub50 is a militant radical lunatic left-winger socialist??

You know what's funny? I think most conservative republicans vote that way because they are programmed by right wing talk radio. Many of them are very gullible and naive and they end up electing people like Mark Foley because they don't know any better.

A person like Karl Rove wouldn't have been able to orchestrate the races the way he did if they weren't gullible and naive. (And I guess I should say that this goes for the public in general since I don't believe most of us do enough *honest* research -- like looking at voting records ourselves, etc.)

The book "What's The Matter with Kansas?" comes to mind. It's a good book about how Republicans and Rove get so many people to vote against their own best interests, and it's true. In a nutshell, and I agree with this assertion, the Republicans economically are all about big oil, corporations, the military-industrial complex, and taking care of their own, and could give two you-know-whats about the average Joe, so they use wedge issues, playing to people's religion and prejudices to get people to vote for them. They also create boogeymen to make people afraid, then tell people they are the only ones who can protect them (sort of like Munchausen on a mass scale). It's fascinating and depressing at the same time.

Instead we get Republicans who call voters with records and tell them not to show up on voting day or they will be arrested there. Or those Republicans who go after teenagers.. Or... I could go on, but what's the point? I can't wait until the Republicans are out for good. If only Clinton would run again. Not Hillary though.

And it might also have to do with the fact that the Dems are the party which supports legalizing illegal aliens, many of whom are Hispanic. So of course they vote Dem. Now, I'm a Democrat, but I do NOT want aliens legalized. And really, you might as well ask why Blacks vote Dem. A lot of people vote based on history and family lines, but that doesn't mean they are uninformed. I know some are, but maybe they just agree with their family?

I do agree, however, that some people who vote are too stupid to live. In the 2004 Presidential, I knew a girl who voted for Bush just, and I mean just, because she didn't... get this: she didn't like Kerry's HAIR!!! Wow! Just... wow.

LMFAO That's like During the Primary here a Edwards campainer was in 1 of the local bars, and asked How the deer know to cross at the deer crossing signs, next to the road. I'm glad you like high taxes and handouts to the ppl that don't want to work. Along with PPl who work hard in school, to be told they can't get into the colledge they want, due to A minority with lower gradepoint avg having to get in. The dems just tax and support the ppl that don't deserve it. They give ppl in jail rights and CABLE. your incarserated rot their til your release date. You don't like it don't do the crime. If you look at any area of the U.S.A. that has been under Dem control more than 15 years it has a high crime rate, high taxes, and tax burden ppl everywhere. This is the land of the free NOT the land of the live for Free. Dems should never be allowed to control all sections of Politics. But nor should the GOP. Even the Grand Lier himself Clinton admitted, in his book the GOP is the reason WELFARE got reformed. He fought aginst it. That bill did awsome things for this country. Clinton was a discrace to that office. Half the things he was given credit for was the result of the GOP. NOT HIM. The only thing he did was LIE to a grand jury and get away with it. a normal person like us would have gone to jail for that. and military would get court martialed for it. But that FRAUD got away with it.

Honestly where do you get your research from Iran maybe? Your socialist views are evident. In fact you admit to like socialism in another post. So coming from a socialist that likes liberals I can understand your hatred towards Republicans. Maybe another country is more suited for such a well spoken gentlmen as yourself.

Average Joe? Describe an average Joe. Our people in poverty here in America are better off than many countries middle class people. The average Joe owns a house, has more than one television, computer, cable, telephone and much more. Maybe you think that the average Joe shouldn't work for his money. Is that it? Welfare state for all. What do you think?
