What a piece of garbage this country is becoming.
You do realize that Jackson didn't even like the idea of currency right??

Read the OP article. I don't think he would like having his image on money at all.

Now Alexander Hamilton - I think he should be on a higher note. He was the first secretary of the treasury and his ideals about the central bank aka "the fed" were eventually adhered to so he is much more deserving of a note higher than $10. And I do feel that many don't even know who he is. I dont' think they know who Jackson is either, but at least Hamilton had something more to do with our current financial system versus Jackson.

I also don't think that everyone on the currency need be a president. Neither Ben Franklin nor Alexander Hamilton were presidents.

No patriot kills women and children and illegally annexes land.

Someone who says of the Native Americans "kill them all", I don't mind having that man taken off the money. We're all Americans. Put someone on the money who ALL Americans can see as a great patriot.

Is there such a person?

How about Steve Rodgers (Captian America) a fictional character? Rocky?

No fictional characters. Period. Needs to be a statesman who did right by ALL Americans.

William Henry Harrison as he was only in office 32 days and couldn't have done much anyone would find objectionable.

To you it is turning into that because you don't like what you see. I say things could be better. However, I would rather live in the USA of today, rather than long ago.

Now, I have a challenge. I would really consider thinking about an American statesman who did good by and for ALL Americans. When I say ALL Americans, I mean for everyone who is an American citizen, race/descent not mattering at all.

That's the beauty and difference of our nation over others, you are free to leave, anytime you wish. Or, if you choose, you can whine incessantly about miniscule things you find objectionable on the internet, because we have the first amendment.

Great nation......Huh?
