The vile behavior is from the homo-fascists, who have issued death threats and engaged in a conspiracy to ruin these people's business and their lives. The vile behavior is from the leftist media sorts, who inspire this same sort of hatred from people who follow them, especially on cable television. The vile behavior is from leftist business leaders, such as Apple CEO Tim Cook, who will participate in an orchestrated campaign to destroy some small town pizza shop owner, while continuing to make millions from regimes like Saudi Arabia who kill homosexuals for their sexual orientation.
Your rant is pathetic.
Your name-calling is perfidious ("homo-fascists" ... I'll wager you really wanted to use an insulting name that begins with "fa" and ends with "ots.")
Ordinary Americans (like me), companies, organizations, synagogues and churches, professional associations, elected officials all over the country are saying NO! to prejudice, bigotry and discrimination and you are throwing a temper tantrum.
Apple CEO Tim Cook organized a campaign to destroy a pizzeria? Sheesh!
You know who voiced their opposition to Gov. Pence over the law? The Indiana Chamber Of Commerce. The NCAA. The president of the University of Indiana in Bloomington. The Mayor of the biggest city - Indianapolis. Local newspapers like Indianapolis Star. Governors from other states. NASCAR. The State Tourism board. Mayors of big cities across the land.
We see your seething hatred for the LGBT community. You are entitled to those views. The views you hold are becoming discredited and reviled. I can understand your rage.
You have a right to your views and I have a right to ridicule those views.
To which I would point out that it's the religious people who are trying to get the government to pass laws to protect them as they police the public's morality by punishing people who don't share their values. That's what refusing service is, a form of punishment, a sort of shunning. Morality policing in a nutshell.
Touche. And strange to note how this "morality policing" is very, very selective.

WALKERTON, Ind. -- A business in Walkerton is getting national attention and backlash following its statements and stance on the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
Memories Pizza is on the record saying it wouldn't cater gay weddings, and that stance has gone viral online.
“I don’t have a problem with gay people, I do not condone gay marriage and that’s what I said,” co-owner Kevin O’Connor explained to The Daily Beast. “I don’t turn anybody away from the store, I don’t have a problem with gay people. I just don’t condone the marriage.”
It very well could be but the question is, is the government capable or should they even be the morality police?
Is the government being the morality police here? Or is the government being the equality police?
From what I've read in these threads, this is exactly the basic disagreement - some people see these laws as a question of the free expression of a personal religious belief while some people see these laws as a question of whether one citizen's money is as good as any other citizen's.
I come down on the side of any citizen's money is as good as any other citizen's. Because we have no evidence that the government is trying to shut down churches or newspapers or TV/radio stations or internet web sites or arrest people who are opposed to gay marriage in particular or gay rights in general.

Except that is exactly the opposite of what is happening. In the case of the pizza shop, the Christian owner was the one who needed protection from the homo-fascist bullies, who conspired together to harass her, ruin her business and threaten her life. She has had to shut down her business as a result.
So clearly, you are projecting the agenda of the homosexual bullies and the left onto Christians and the right. But regardless of how you try to spin it, the thugs here are the homo-fascists who attacked this woman, threatened her life and worked together to ruin her business.
No Christians that I am aware of have done anything like that to homosexuals here in this country, and I do not believe you can provide an example where they have.

I'm sorry, I don't understand why she was entitled to protection. She decided what her position was on catering a gay wedding and freely articulated it. Some people didn't like what she had to say and decided to express their opinions. Still others rallied around the owner and gave her support in the form of money. Everyone has gotten their say. No ones voices were oppressed. You just don't like it because the whole thing didn't have your preferred outcome where the "homo-fascist bullies" took a beat down for daring to speak up.
You have the freedom to say whatever you'd like, but not the expectation to be insulated from the consequences.

No, Christians just spend millions to ban us from legal marriage, advocate for the death of homosexuals in this country and abroad, bully, try to force children into "conversion therapy", etc.

Shhhh..... there are some people who want to wallow in their righteous indignation without any push back.
I agree with you with the exception of adding the word SOME before Christians. There are actually a lot of Christians and Muslims and every other religion who are as disgusted by the actions of religious extremists as you are. As we all should be and hopefully will be one day.

I`m glad to see the family will not be bankrupted by the Gaystapo because of a simple thought crime.
