Actually, I don't deserve more money. I'm getting more than I deserve already. But why should that preclude me from asking? It's MY career! And no burger flipper has a right to say that I shouldn't ask for more because it's none of their business.
If the damn prices go up, then I simply won't buy a burger. My life isn't gonna end because I can't afford a McDonald's happy meal.
So a Big Mac goes up a few cents. Big deal. You think the price should stay the same forever?
Or are you just broke?
lol. Are you kidding me? The price would have to go up more than a few cents to pay these unskilled workers $15.00 an hour. If they want to make more money maybe they should invest some time and effort into advancing their education and job skills. God forbid that people ever have to be responsible for their successes or failures.

If you can't afford a Quarter Pounder, don't buy it. Simple as that. It's not gonna kill you to go elsewhere.
That, or take your own advice and get better skills to make more money so that you CAN afford a Quarter Pounder.
How 'bout that.
Oh...you didn't mean to have your own suggestion used against YOU, right?
Right. If you're too broke to afford McDonald's, then that's your problem. But that doesn't mean that they can't ask for more money just because it might put your weekly Happy Meal in financial jeopardy.
lol. The market is the driver. If McDonalds can't compete with other fast food franchises that don't pay $15.00 an hour, they will fold and people will lose jobs. It's not rocket science.

So what? Then they go outta business.
You think they'd be the first large corporation to go under if that happens?
Burger chains pop up all the time. So the workforce will have to find new jobs...
If they go out of business these emplpyees will lose jobs and will have to seek unskilled labor jobs with other fast food franchises that don't pay $15.00 an hour. They will have to file bankruptcy if they get into debt based on a $15.00 an hour unskilled job that is doomed to be eliminated.
It's no wonder that people who don't understand basic economics are stuck working minimum wage jobs. No offense to anyone who does work minimum wage, but it's really a very small portion of the workforce, and those who do usually gain experience and move to better paying jobs before long.
These people "demanding" $15 an hour are the special type of dumb who lack the intellectual strength and character to ever progress any further in life.

Or they are being payed cash by some union to walk around with a sign for a few hours, good for them for finding an easy buck, as long as they can handle the ridicule. It is hard to believe most of these people actually believe that they deserve 15 an hour.
