"Hands up, don't shoot"

He was just a gentle giant who volunteered at the soup kitchen. He was a good boy .... he was turning his life around.

Care to provide a link? In any case this kind of thing has ramped up recently: it seems these monsters have murdered a guy every day recently. And as for whites being victimized, it seems most of the shooting victims are black but most of the people they cart off and torture in hospitals are white kids; a good example just came out yesterday of a white pregnant woman and her children being viciously assaulted by police in their own home.

The general rule of police states and predatory organizations is they target the most vulnerable; in American society that's pregnant women, blacks, children, old people, and to a lesser extent Latinos and all women. Everyone is under threat of becoming a victim, every demographic will face these attacks, and it will intensify and expand with time*, but some are always targeted more severely and earlier than others.

*Just look at how protesters now are treated like terrorists in a war zone, or SWAT teams invading homes just like soldiers used to do to Iraqis, or even the TSA's mission creep. The foreign victims of American wars are the most vulnerable group of all, and it is that is the launch point of these atrocities becoming normalized and then being imported into the U.S.

Most people don't outside of the St. Louis metro area don't follow the local news out of Ferguson, but the national media made sure we learned all about an incident there.

That happens sometimes. I don't live in the midwest, but I saw on the news about the tiny town I have never heard of devastated by a tornado.

I watched the video and there's no justification for the police to treat the poor woman like that, If somebody is hysterical like she appeared to be, the police should have tried to calm her down not beat her. That's appalling.
