At best better for some, worse for others. That is no solution. Just because you say you are O.K. with it doesn't negate my point though.

But you are right, a LOT of liberals don't like it because we believe that universal health care makes a lot more sense.
Unfortunately an article like this one won't mention that.

The ER means "EMERGENCY ROOM".

its just you have to wait hours if not days to see a doctor. by that point people could be dead.

One of the lies used to sell ACA 2010 was that the uninsured fled to ERs. In fact the opposite was--and remains--true:

"In contrast to expectations, uninsured patients were less likely to use the ED for less-urgent care."
http://www.biomedcentral.com/1472-6963/9/223

And nobody was stepping over bodies of self-pays in the gutters of streets, either. ACA is a trillion dollar wet kiss by the pill-dependent progressive left to the medical industrial complex.

Actually, we were told the reason the cost was so high was because these costs are being added to everyone elses cost, which is true, but the federal government is now expected to lose $1.7 TRILLION over the next decade with ACA and STILL 30 million are expected to go without.

So no, they are not being paid for..

People probably going to the ER every time they get a paper cut. After all, a "free" ER visit is cheaper than a box of bandaids.

Only in a liberal's mind could providing something for free cause it's consumption to decrease.
They forget the poor never change......they actually thought they would buy healthcare!

Only if these people are on medicaid, if they go in saying they pay cash......the hospital could still be out.

The silly part, the people who bought insurance before are still buying it, the ones who ran up hospital bills without paying, still have no insurance.

People actually go to the ER for a cough......this is one of our problems with the education system, people are not even taught who pays the bills when they fail to. ER is for a real emergency, not cold medicine.
