Will there be more crickets from the right leaning war hawks who love to put down the administrations commitment to defense of America?

Top ISIS Commander In Syria Killed In U.S. Special-Ops Raid

There are discrepancies in the stories. One story says the raid was in Syria. Another says the raid took place in Iraq.

This sounds very similar to the original version of events for the Osama Bin Laden "raid".

Quote:
The raid involved some hand-to-hand combat, Martin reports. The ISIS fighters tried to use the women and children in the compound as human shields.
It further stated that none of them were injured. This seems to stretch the credibility for the article once again.

The US claims to have been fighting ISIS for nearly a year but the report says this is only the first ground raid in that time.

Not sure, maybe your being sarcastic, but even Fox news is reporting that this did happen. Source: Army's elite Delta Force kills top ISIS official, Abu Sayyaf, in rare Syrian raid | Fox News

Where did you read in my post that Abu Sayyaf was still alive?

I question the version of the raid, if a raid existed at all.

The news is really only notable for what it revealed about the lack of offensive operations against ISIS personnel.

The trouble is there has been so many lies, twisting of the truth and spin on the negatives coming out of this administration that the Good People of America have no idea what to believe anymore.

I'm sure the government would prefer you guys didn't believe it, then when they actually do something on the down low and it makes the news, you won't believe that too.

*mind blown*

Uh, you do realize ISIS rose to power in Iraq after Bush invaded and removed Saddam from power?

If you really want to throw around blame, you can go back to Reagan for arming, training and funding future ISIS, al Qaeda and Taliban leaders (including bin Laden) throughout the 1980s. He called them "Freedom Fighters" and even invited them to the White House for a photo op.

Funny..nothing on this guy other then the current news reports.
Nothing.

Coincidentally there is a terrorist group also named Abu Sayyaf.

Abu Sayyaf - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Found this listing the top ISIS leaders and this guy isn't on the list:
http://english.alarabiya.net/en/News...-revealed.html

And then I just finished reading an older article (December 2014) where the pentagon said they killed most of the top ISIS leaders but didn't give out all the names.
