We don't paint all Christians with the same brush as we do the Westboro Baptist Church. So why do you paint all Muslims with the same brush as the most radical among them?
Liberals DO paint all Christians with the same brush as they do the Westboro nuts. Just go back to any thread about them and you'll find all kinds of leftists talking about all Christians, not just those crazies. Selective memory or just the usual liberal double standard?

We're talking about the US, not Turkey. Turkey, for years, branded itself as a SECULAR country. Did you even read what I wrote? Muslim woman who are secular Muslims don't cover their heads.
Where I live, the vast majority of Muslim women cover themselves head-to-toe.
What makes you think that most Muslim women in the US don't cover their heads? Or are you only saying this because you don't live in an area with lots of Muslims.
Do you find it acceptable to see a Muslim man wearing a T-shirt and jeans with his wife following behind him covered from head-to-toe? How does it make you feel knowing that far too many of these women are forced to dress like that?
There's a big world beyond where you live.
Female modesty and faith are connected in many religious denominations including Orthadox Jews and several Christian denominations. Some also demand a wife submit and defer to their husbands on all matters.
Hair is considered erotic in some cultures going back to ancient times. Many of these practices seem to assume men can not be expected to control themselves as if they were perpetual children. In other cases, modesty, especially amongst married women is a cultural thing.
Ever see an image of Virgin Mary without a hijab? This was about 700 years before Islam was formed.
You know darn well that the 9/11 hijackers flew those planes into buildings in the name of Islam. Lubitz didn't do that in the name of Lutheranism. I'm surprised that you didn't bring up Timothy McVey. He was Catholic but didn't blow up the Murrah Building in the name of Catholicism. So, what's your point?

Muslims did not build gas chambers to destroy 6 million Jews. The holocaust was carried out by Christians.
There's a fine blurred line between religion and political ideology throughout time.
Religion has been used to recruit and motivate the masses since forever.
If you bothered to read through this thread I mentioned already that Orthodox Jewish women dress conservatively as do the men. You don't see the men wearing T-shirts and jeans while their wives are conservatively dressed. Why aren't Muslim men wearing traditional Muslim garb when their wives and daughters are dressed that way?

Most liberals identify as Christians. There are more than 40,000 Christian denominations in the U.S. Anyone can create a church/ denomination based on their personal beliefs. Most seem quite capable of distinguishing between mainstream and extreme when it come to Chritianity. Some don't seem to be able to do so as it relates to Muslims. They are also more likely to believe most Muslims are middle eastern.
