So Marco Rubio has received four traffic tickets since 1997 and his wife has received 13. They (either he and/or his wife) have apparently also attended defensive driving. Marco Rubio and his family are apparently so clean that this is the best effort at a smear story that the New York Times can come up with.

Quote:
Marco Rubio and His Wife Cited 17 Times for Traffic Infractions

According to a search of the Miami-Dade and Duval County court dockets, the Rubios have been cited for numerous infractions over the years for incidents that included speeding, driving through red lights and careless driving. A review of records dating back to 1997 shows that the couple had a combined 17 citations: Mr. Rubio with four and his wife with 13. On four separate occasions they agreed to attend remedial driving school after a violation.
Surely this is a scandal that the left can use to ruin Marco Rubio, a politician that they fear to their very core. A Hispanic conservative Republican who is well spoken, attractive, super smart, balanced and under control.

OH MY GOD!!! CRUSH, KILL, DESTROY!!!

Have no fear, the New York Times in on the case. And MSNBC is sure to try and do everything they can to make this into a major story, especially Rachel Maddow.

No word about the findings of the smear investigations that they have going on Bernie Sanders, Martin O'Malley, or Lincoln Chafee. Of course Hillary Clinton has not driven during this period, as she has a paid chauffeur to drive her around all this time and more.

Traffic tickets? That's all the investigative geniuses at the NYT could dig up?

Next we'll hear numerous articles about how horrible traffic citations are and what a disregard of laws, etc. They have to come up with something for all Republicans to try to knock them down.

Not a surprise. They focus on Rubios traffic tickets, but hide Clinton's e-mail scandal, her mis-handling and lying about Benghazi, her illegal foreign campaign contributions, etc, etc. Much like the worst they could come up with on Romney was that he carried his dog in a dog carrier when he was 20, while ignoring Obama's past.

NYT isn't a news source, they are just one more left-wing blog.

Rubio is a neocon who doesn't have a great track record on the Bill of Rights.

Anyway, NYT, knowing bad press is better than no press at all, is trying to install the key figures. It doesn't want Rand, it doesn't want Carly.
