The news footage paints a very different picture of this situation. It seems pretty obvious that if you as a citizen surround and beat a police officer, the response you're going to get from the police is not going to be gentle. Pathetic that Al Sharpton has already inserted himself into this.

Yep. Including the one who didn't have the correct swimwear on. He was in the pool as well - even though he was told not to.
He had got out the pool, when she came to bring him new swim shorts. His behavior is what ultimately got him put out, so once they told her he could not stay, she went to get the other children. [MOD CUT/trolling]
Eventually the cops have a problem. Bennett the lawyer is correct. You must have a valid rational to lay your hands on someone. You can't charge resisting arrest if you had no valid reason to arrest.

The are not charged with attacking or fighting with an officer. They are charged with disorderly conduct in the 3rd and 4th degree. So attacking the cop is not an available option.

I think the cops will be unable to prove disorderly conduct wheree upon the resisting arrest collapses as the arrest was unlawful.
They have one of the best lawyers in the city, and we have the pictures that show some of the injuries the children received. I would hope that all charges are dropped and people move on with their lives, without any lawsuits being pursued.

But it seems the words "civilized" and "hood rat" do not fit into the same sentence. They look for ANY reason to be confrontational and then attempt to get a Lawyer involved. Mama is setting such a good example for her kids, isn't she ?
