The news footage paints a very different picture of this situation. It seems pretty obvious that if you as a citizen surround and beat a police officer, the response you're going to get from the police is not going to be gentle. Pathetic that Al Sharpton has already inserted himself into this.

Eventually the cops have a problem. Bennett the lawyer is correct. You must have a valid rational to lay your hands on someone. You can't charge resisting arrest if you had no valid reason to arrest.

We will see...but it does not appear the cops have a valid reason for the arrest of the women.

So! You don't think fighting a police officer is not resisting arrest or not a valid reason to be arrested?
Hmmmm, no wonder there is trouble in the community.

The are not charged with attacking or fighting with an officer. They are charged with disorderly conduct in the 3rd and 4th degree. So attacking the cop is not an available option.

[MOD CUT/off topic]

I think the cops will be unable to prove disorderly conduct wheree upon the resisting arrest collapses as the arrest was unlawful.

They have one of the best lawyers in the city, and we have the pictures that show some of the injuries the children received. I would hope that all charges are dropped and people move on with their lives, without any lawsuits being pursued.

Perhaps you did not see the other video when they were ganging around the police officer and hitting on him.
This happened before the other one. Pay attention.http://www.wlwt.com/news/wlwt-exclus...video/33533002

I don't care if these people are black, white, or purple, if they disobey a police order to leave, and then make a hell of a fuss, they can expect things to not go well for them. All they had to do was leave and everyone would have gone home peacefully, just like any civilized person would do.

But it seems the words "civilized" and "hood rat" do not fit into the same sentence. They look for ANY reason to be confrontational and then attempt to get a Lawyer involved. Mama is setting such a good example for her kids, isn't she ?
