No, but from someone that describes a "40 bullet clip" what do you expect?
It's a common misconception among those not in the know that the AR in AR-15 stands for Assault Rifle.
Not a problem. I bought another one the other day for $529 plus tax. DPMS carbine, flat rail job. I'll add a red dot or small scope. Great for rural or urban work. Fits nicely in the trunk too.
Some call them magazines some call them clips, why is it sensationalist.
Let me explain the difference to you. Someone who is clueless and has no idea what they are talking about calls it a clip.
Anyone who has ANY idea what they are talking about will refer to it by its correct name, which is a magazine. The article is sensationalist because it makes it sound as if the weapon in question is some kind of super tech weapon that is far superior to a semi automatic hunting rifle. When in actuality it is nothing more than a hunting rifle that fires one round (not bullet) per trigger pull. It has less charge than many hunting rifles and is useful for many things other than attacking a church. I personally use mine for hunting feral hogs on my property which are overgrown rodents. The AR-15 is not a military grade weapon. It is not an automatic or select fire weapon. It is not an "Assault rifle". Never has been.

A clip and magazine are two different things. A clip does not have a spring. Confucius said the beginning of wisdom is to call things by their right name. Is it too much to ask that elites who want to regulate to get their terminology right?

It's not sensationalist, it just points out how ignorant the author is like most anti gun nuts. They both hold bullets but they aren't at all the same thing. Other than the Garand which uses an en-bloc clip, clips don't go into firearms, magazines do.
It was the prescription drugs he was on that made him do it. He was on the SSRI drugs just like all the other mass shooters. Let's call a spade a sapde.
Really? I didn't know a drug could make a person racist. And there have been mass murders way before anti depressants were available. How would you explain those?

Vietnam Vets called them clips they were not elite, too much focus on minutia.
