Maybe we can move past racism when we stop having institutions promote it, such as the NAACP, Black History Month, affirmative action based on race, etc. As long as we have organizations promoting one race over another we'll never be rid of racism.
It's a symbol of history. Should we remove all american flags because they once flew over japanese concentration camps and were carried by soldiers when evicting natives from their lands? is it the fault of NC that a few hate groups decide to use it as a symbol of hate?
How about arresting/incarcerating a rock band for having the Union Jack on their clothing?

Excellent point. Who do you think is responsible for the agenda? White progressive liberals. They are behind anything that points to white people wronging a minority class. they invent the crap. The people who are supposedly wronged don't think of it until a liberal white person feels he/she needs to point it out as such.
Chris Matthews comes to mind. He is the whitest angry black man I have seen on TV.
The fact that the confederate flag is on the table for discussion means that there are no significant racial issues for blacks, and it lends credence to the claims that the left uses the media to race hustle for power and rent seeking for its constituents.
Not in the history of the world has any oppressed group had the luxury of complaining about a regional flag of its so called oppressor, let alone had the power to actually effect change. Blacks have both. There are no issues. People who are actually oppressed have much bigger fish to fry. So, thanks for unwittingly making a mockery of your pseudo-outrage. The White South didn't need to do a thing. Though, it is done. Congratulations, but if there was ever a fitting official end to black political agitation against whites then this is it.
