McConnell said it out loud, and the whole party acted on it. And then you guys whine because the president discovered the only way to get anything done was in spite of those who were rooting for his failure, and to act accordingly. I'd say it showed this president's adeptness, that he was able to accomplish so much in the face of such opposition.

Their publicly stated goal when he took office was to make him fail. I'd say they set the stage from the beginning. When someone's only objective is to see you fail, the best thing to do to counter it is simply forge ahead and do your job. Which this president has done. Sometimes the best way to deal with children throwing temper tantrums is to ignore them.
Temper tantrums? How many times has Obama used his veto pen? A handful, maybe.
You know you dems whine and cry about how the Republicans are out to get Obama, and deny him legislation. But Obama is becoming known as the president with the least amount of vetos for over a century. The Republicans are giving Obama everything he wants. All the past presidents wished they had a legislative branch as compliant and cooperative as this one.
Nope. The Dems need to tie back Trump's comments as being representative of all Republicans. Trump has no chance of winning so use him to paint all Republicans poorly.

And ever since McConnell has let Obama do anything he wants. McConnell has been a total disappointment to the right.
