DD, True. For the most part, people who will be in the neighborhood a long time (home owners, parents sending kids to Hollywood High, etc) are working class Latinos. Most people outside of LA, inaccurately identify the wealthy Hollywood Hills as what Hollywood in general is like.
You stated that your family owns an apt building in the neighborhood, u know what the Hollywood Dream is.. The local apt buildings are filled w/temporary transplants, living in LA trying to be the next Marilyn Monroe. A lot of these aspiring actors are nice and hard-working, trying to do something different. Agree w/you that the murder could've been personal, we don't know the victim's backstory. But it could easily be a random killing. A killer looking specifically for a woman, or a White person. I hope the LAPD isn't as dismissive of that possibility as you are. A hit done with a shotgun sounds like amateur hour in the 'hood.
Since you know some of the local real estate, don't a lot of the apt buildings have exterior cameras, lobby surveillance (?) Hard for me to believe they won't find any tape of the killer's car in the vicinity..
The demographic has changed a lot. Back in the day, the Hispanics were all pretty much east of Vine Street, south of Sunset, and north of Melrose at the Hancock Park line. Hollywood was in a pretty steep decline back then. The Mexican gangs used to rule over Hollywood Recreation Center on Cahuenga back then, but they weren't really violent with non-gang members. I used to see'em all the time when i'd walk from our place to the old Ranch Market on Vine to play pinball (years before they tore it down) or when i played rec basketball and baseball at the center.
That whole area where the Hispanics used to live is damn near ALL apartment buildings now with sky high rents. The area where i lived (on Wilcox between Fountain and Santa Monica) hardly has any single family dwellings anymore. It's damn near all apartments. Used to be working class whites, blacks and Asians.
But you're right...it's always been a neighborhood full of dreamers and washed up dream chasers that thought Hollywood was something that it really isn't. The neighborhood is far more affluent now than it once was, but it's still seedy up on the north side in the areas right along Sunset and Hollywood Blvd. This shooting took place on McCadden Pl...not exactly an area where some "thug" is looking to shoot someone for being white. It's not even a place where people stroll around a lot. It's mostly a business district. And this shooting sounds FAR from amateur hour. This was pretty well planned out....i mean, the guy still hasn't been caught and the cops don't have answers so far.
And yeah, there are cameras around, but nothing has been mentioned about there being any footage.
Very sad. Hope they find out who did this. It does sound like a hit.

Obama's parents were married. His father was Kenyan and their divorce rates are lower than the US. Their out of wedlock births are around half of that in the US. That's generally the case with the African continent anyway.
Obama's father was already married to a Kenyan woman named Kezia Aoko when he arrived in Hawaii, so his marriage to Obama's mother Ann Dunham, even if it did actually occur, would not have been legal.

I bet muslims do have a low divorce rate and out of wedlock birth rate. Women can't divorce men so easily. But that doesn't change the statistics for interracial relationships in the US.

The two were married. Polygamy has been around a long time.

It is true for the African continent in general, whether Muslim or Christian. Nice try though.
So it's definitely not the African genes that are the problem for those in the U.S., as you claim. Of course, most acquired other genes and culture loss in this country. So it's a here problem...sorry.

Source? Africa is a cesspool of violence and war, slavery, disease, and poverty.
