Reminds one of Kerry who fights for more taxes on rich then buys his big boat in another states to avoid taxes in state he represents. No different than so many actors but then Elite liberals see themselves as special from others anyway as always. Government has a history of paying its workers less than same job in private sector anyway and why they once organized became political which attracted those who set them; politicians.

I'm not a big believer in double standards. If you have a position you should live it every day.

Sanders in this respect is just like the anti gay marriage republicans that are gay.

Sorry, I deal in reality-not what is "meant to be" or "should be" or "could be". The reality is that Multi-National Corporations exploit labor all over the World. Of the 100 largest economies in the World today there are now more nationless detached corporations than entire nations of people. Wake up!

What you support is a global cabal of economic interests-where national borders mean nothing, and everyday more and more people join the ranks of the poor and exploited.

  • 55 percent work full-time (35 hours per week or more);
  • 44 percent have at least some college experience.

A handful of posts ago someone was saying sanders paid his interns but he didn't have to. So which is it?

The answer is a congressman can pay a staffer whatever they want but they cannot exceed a certain amount for the entire pool of staff.

Not a good example ;because I know many people who are not for marriage with any advantage for being married over single. You will also find democrats against same sex marriage as well as abortion based on their belief its a sin therefore not a thing they can support. There is a lot of sex many are against not from anything but person belief and repulsion itself.

I prefer the BLS numbers over a think tank.

BLS: 48% are 16-24, 51% are 25 and older
23% have no HS diploma
18% have a college degree
The rest have HS diploma and some or no college.

Only 3 million make at or below min wage.

I defended Bernie here. I was just noting that politicians do exclude themselves from laws they create for others all the time.......sadly.

False, each member is alloted 944,000 dollars, 18 full time employees, 4 part time and base pay is the same, its the raises that the congressmen has control over.
