Why after so many posts, people still stay ignorant?
Can't we at least agree the following:
1. Regulated trophy hunting does bring money to the conversation of animals, and is essential to the animals. Even today they have money from both trophy hunting and ecotourism, they still have a severe problem with funding.
2. Most people are ignorant and easily manipulated.
3. We don't know all the facts about what happened to Cecil's death. "A rich white man deliberately poached a pet lion loved by the locals" surely sells more paper than "An American hunter accidentally shot a wrong lion."
4. Most people care more about the lion than the millions of starving African babies.

It doesn't change the fact that chances are trophy hunters are most likely mentally ill and quite possibly psychotic. If a predatory animal needs to be removed then do it humanely, don't let one of these psychos get their rocks off torturing it.
Again, ignorant comments. There's no evidence to support that trophy hunters are "most likely mentally ill and quite possibly psychotic."

Well, we know he and his guide baited a lion on protected land to lure him off the property, used a bow to kill the lion which he did not have a permit to use, nor did the guide have a permit to hunt lions, and then when they found the tracker they tried to hide it.
This has been common knowledge on this for a while now....I would assume you knew all of this....
"Day #2 I got a amazing old Giraffe. Such a amazing animal!! I couldn't be any happier!! My emotion after getting him was a feeling I will never forget!!!"
The hell is wrong with these people?! They are sick to their core. They genuinely get a thrill from killing another sentient, living animal. Read her own words; she's a psychopath. How could you possibly find joy in killing a giraffe? More from her:

"There is a connection with the animal. Just because we hunt them doesn't mean we don't have a respect for them."
If you respected a creature, you don't kill it. Take a photo maybe, but to claim you respect an animal you have a connection with and then kill it makes you a sick person. There is something seriously misfiring in that little brain of theirs. Trophy hunters = sewer scum. Right up there with drunk drivers.
