It is Authoritarianism in any form. Left or right.

The Left has taken the lead in crossing the line to Authoritarianism.

its no joke, you need to know the enemy.
I do not call them liberals because they are well not liberal. I do not call them progressive because they forge zero progress.

No that is no longer true.

NYC fined an Indian restaurant because they put out an ad for staff that were Indian and knew the cuisine.

The restaurant has to pay $5K because of that discriminatory ad.

It is absolutely out-of-control. Do or say something nut job Liberals don't like and they'll pound social media to bully people into compliance. Businesses like this restaurant are forced into a corner -- if they brush the incident off, Liberal attack dogs will destroy them through negative publicity and threats. If they cave in to the pressure of PC bullying, they're going to lose the business and respect of people who objected to them firing someone over something that wasn't objectively racist.

The Left has realized they can pretty much ruin anybody that gets in their way through social media terrorism; those who don't comply receive death threats, bomb threats, boycotts, protests, trashed on Yelp/Twitter/Facebook, they get fired, their clients are harassed, etc.

You hit the nail on the head. Trial by Twitter.

No, not as long as we are meant to feel like we have to commit suicide for things people long dead did, which we had no control over.

The way some act and talk you'd think the Civil War was just over yesterday, not 150 years ago.

I think to some folk it is not. Both sides of the table as well. Far ends though.

People are being fired over one slip of the tongue. No admonishment, no talking to, no "Don't do it again". Outright firing on the spot as soon as word gets to social media.

WWE purged all references to Hulk Hogan..like he never existed in their organization. And in doing that purged their own history.

Companies fire people on the spot in reaction to the social media crowd.
Business owners cave in to the fear of Trial by Twitter.
Yep, that's what passes for justice these days.
