We need to restrict the first amendment and reasonably limit the media. The media portrays these killers as anti heroes. Every grievance they have gets aired for public consumption. Every detail of their life, every complaint they have ever taken the time to dictate to paper gets wall to wall 24/7 attention in the media.

It is time we think about the children and make reasonable common sense restrictions to the media, such as not being able to tell us the killers name or voice any complaints the killer has, and any "manifesto" should never be allowed to be broadcast or reprinted for any I tenets of purposes without the express permission of the U.S. Government. After all the founders could never have predicted main stream media and social networking.

Maybe the real problem is this vague "they" people blame for everything.

This guy was all about blaming the "they", too. He says in his manifesto that the tipping point was the church shooting. 2 days later, he purchased a gun. And he put a face to his "they", and he deliberately killed his "they".

Maybe one of the people YOU egg on about "they" has mental issues, too, and will put a face to their "they", and set out to do harm.

"They" don't exist. Everyone else is just like you. We all have our opinions, our biases, our agendas, our shortcomings and our strong points.

If the races were reversed, this would have been labeled a hate crime.

More of the same liberal moral relativism.

It's your defense mechanism that's kicks in when you encounter cognitive dissonance.

It's senseless violence. Doesn't matter if the guy wrote 2 pages or wrote a book explaining his actions. His explanations make no sense. It was SENSELESS violence.

Doesn't that make all violence senseless then, negating the need to add the qualifier then.

A Black Gay man legally gets a gun and exacts revenge for homosexual and racist hate he experienced in his life.

I'm sure Obama, Rice and Biden were dancing a little Gig on the oval office couches. Then Biden fired a couple blasts with his shotgun out the window signaling the start of a another push on gun control.

And in cases where the victim was selected for no other reason than their race, ethnic, religion or sex that would be hate crime regardless of the race, ethnicity, religion or sex of the perpetrator.

The guy killed himself, you can't label it a hate crime if you can't prosecute the criminal.
