As to regime; Who is the regime in relation to Jerusalem? Iran doesn't really care as they are Shia. If they meant Jews or Christians then it is what it is. If they meant Palestinians (PA) well they are Sunni. So basically Iran does not care who is currently in leadership as all of them are on the sh*t list anyway.

Israel will always have a Hezbollah to deal with...and when there's no longer a Hezbollah, there'll be some other group. It comes with living in a tough neighborhood with neighbors you don't like and they don't like you either.
But at the end of the day, dumb statements coming out of Tehran should go in one ear and out the other.

And the ruling gov't is what? Israeli Jews. Not Israeli Christians and not Israeli Muslims. There is no stretch of the imagination of who the comment was meant for.
Death to America is a good substitute if that wasn't true. Either way no sympathy to Iranian leadership. Only hope the Iranian people overthrow their stone age leaders.
